Common locations are the elbows, knees, buttocks, and scalp.

Often occurs in the same area on both sides of the body.

Small patches tend to unite and create larger patches. Guttate Psoriasis Symptoms:

This tends to be triggered by bacterial infections.

And, tends to be more common in children.

Small, round lesions on the trunk, scalp and limbs. Inverse Psoriasis Symptoms:

Found in armpits, groin, and genital areas.

Smooth, red, patches unlike other types of psoriasis.

Sensitivity and itching in the affected areas.

Sensitivity to sweating and friction. Pustular Psoriasis Symptoms:

Triggered by medicines, stress, or infections.

Blisters with puss.

Confined to small areas or spread over large sections of the body. Nail psoriasis Symptoms:

Pitting of the nails.

Onycholysis (lifting) of the nail from the skin.

Thickening and discoloration of the nail, usually to brown or yellow.
